Disability Football Sessions are a Huge Success
Back in March, Wincanton Sports Ground was fortunate enough to receive funding from the Somerset FA to set up football sessions for adults with disabilities. With the winter months approaching, unfortunately the sessions have now finished for the year.
Busy Summer Holiday at Pevlings Farm Riding Stables
Over 100 foreign students came to ride with us during the summer holidays, but there was a still lot to do for our regulars. Fun Days, Helpers Club and Pony Club, butterfly-catching and pony shows all contributed to summer fun.

Car Treasure Hunt with Hog Roast & Live Music
Wincanton Tennis Club is raising funds for the resurfacing of their courts. They have organized a Family Fun Car Treasure Hunt on Saturday 4th October, followed by a hog roast and live music at Wincanton Sports Ground.
3-2-1km Run Route at Wincanton Sports Ground
Wincanton Sports Ground has recently created a 3-2-1 km run route around its grounds. The 3-2-1km run, which is a Run England project, allows you to track and measure your run, jog or walk when it best suits you.
New Coach for Wincanton Tennis Club
Wincanton Tennis Club committee have this month appointed a new Head Coach. Dan Cahill, who is Level 3 certified, has impressive experience in teaching tennis and fitness to juniors of all ages and adults across a wide range of abilities.
Tennis Marathon on Sunday in Support of Court Resurfacing
On Sunday 24th August Dan Cahill, the new Tennis Coach at Wincanton Tennis Club, will be undertaking a non-stop tennis marathon from 8am to 8pm to raise funds for the courts' resurfacing.
Wincanton Rounders League Comes to a Tense Close!
Wednesday 16th July saw the final week of Wincanton’s first ever social rounders league, and what a league it was! The previous seven weeks saw five teams battling it out to be crowned champions of the 2014 season.
