Half way through his first year as Head Teacher at King Arthur's, Wincanton's secondary school, Chris Beech is interviewed for the Window.
For two nights only the musical 'Annie' will be performed at King Arthur's school by students aged 9-15. Children from some of the local primary schools and King Arthur's will be in the cast.
PCSO Mandy Forsey attended Milborne Port Primary school recently to give Road Safety advice to the children. Mandy spent 20 minutes in each class going over Road Safety and staying safe while out and about in the community.
Milborne Port school choir attended Wheathill Sheltered Housing just before Christmas to sing to the residents. The choir sang beautifully and had the residents in stitches with their actions for the Twelve Days of Christmas song.
A sponsored walk organised by staff at the Wincanton Primary School and completed by their 270 pupils has raised over £2,000 for St Margaret's Hospice.

PCSO Mandy Forsey has successfully completed her first cycle training (Right Track) for children at Milborne Port. This was open to Year Six children at Milborne Port Primary School. All eight children attending the course passed with flying colours.

Children from Wincanton Primary School and Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Primary School become Wincanton Window's youngest ever reporters, recounting their experiences of the exciting Three Towns Olympic Torch relay on 15th June 2012.
Pupils were pleased and excited on receiving plants and flowers from Otter Nurseries to help them get their learning garden going.
On Friday 15th June students from schools in Wincanton, Castle Cary, Ansford, and Bruton brought pure cheer and delight to crowds as they carried out their own version of the Olympic Torch Relay.
