Lobster Week at Truffles

Monday 19 August 2013, 18:57
By Richard Sorapure

A lobster dish from Truffles, BrutonTruffles Bistro Restaurant will be featuring a Lobster Week from Wednesday 21st August - Sunday 25th August to celebrate our first year of trading. We opened for the first time on 18th August in 2012.

Our lobsters are sourced from the prestigious Lyme Bay in Dorset and are caught fresh daily by local fisherman using sustainable low impact methods to ensure future supplies. The lobsters are rushed to us, still alive, so you can be assured of total freshness.

As it is high season the lobsters are of prime quality. They are an expensive luxury dish which we will be serving at £40 for a whole lobster to share between two persons. We hope to have sufficient to make the dish available for both lunch and dinner.

Why not match the dish to our new listing Domaine Sainte Claire Chablis? Available at £29 per bottle or £5 a glass. Other white wines to recommend include Muscadet de Sevre-et-Maine, Sancerre les Boffant or, for those who prefer a bit of fizz, Champagne Testulat or Proseco Treviso.

So come along and celebrate with us. Early bookings are essential. In addition there will also be our regular August menu available. Call on 01749 812180 to book.
