Life Begins at Sixty - Swimming for Free at Wincanton Sports Centre

All those over sixty are now entitled to Free Swimming and if you have never learnt how or have lost your confidence we are now offering a new six week block of free swimming lessons funded by South Somerset District Council in the Wincanton Sports Centre Swimming Pool.

We are really lucky here to have a superb swimming pool where changing is comfortable and convenient, there are lovely warm showers for before and after your swim, and a pool that is always clean and the water temperature just right, even on the coldest day. All this makes going for a swim a real pleasure and of course it is an ideal exercise as so many young and more mature people know, and exercise is certainly the key to keeping healthy as the years pass.

Lessons are on Mondays 1.00pm, Tuesdays 8.00pm, or Wednesdays at 9.00am so if you are interested call in or phone the Sports Centre on 01963 824400.
