Jessica's House Official Opening

Jessica's House gallery and gift shop was opened to the public on 22nd October 2011 and proved to be a great success. Colin Winder, the Mayor of Wincanton, is pictured here with the artist Peter Vernon, Wincanton Business Chairman John Smith and myself.

Peter Vernon's quite incredible sculpture of a Stingray proved to be the talk of the day. Peter uses a special technique he calls 'Vernising' which involves using various dyes and polishing techniques to give an almost marble-like effect.

Other popular items that make great gifts are the Cowshed spa bath and body products. Originating from Babinton House, they are paraben-free and totally natural. The candles burn for 60 hours!
