Energy Best Deal Workshop at the Balsam Centre UPDATED

Want to save money on your energy bills this winter?

One of the biggest worries for people in the colder winter months is the cost of heating their home. At South Somerset Citizens Advice Bureau we can help! We are running the ‘Energy Best Deal’ programme between now and March 2015. Energy Best Deal is Ofgem approved and is a guide to help you get the best deal from your energy suppliers, including when to switch to get the best savings. It also highlights the help that is available from both energy suppliers and government if you are struggling to pay your energy bills.

As part of this, South Somerset Citizens Advice Bureau are running a FREE workshop/talk to be held at The Balsam Centre on Thursday 11th December 22nd January between 1.30 and 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome – so why not come along and see how much money you can save – or if you qualify for the ‘Warm Home Discount’, giving you £140 off your electricity bill this winter!

It doesn’t matter whether you get quarterly bills or you are on a prepayment meter – there are always savings to be made! We will share hints and tips about energy saving and tell you where to go locally for help – how to apply to be on the Priority Services Register and how to understand your tariff – do come and meet us and listen to the talk. There will be an opportunity for questions afterwards.
