Craftique is a brand new arts and craft emporium opening in Wincanton High Street on Tuesday 7th July. Owner Sara Cheesman has taken a lease on the new shop unit created by the extension to the Colbert-Smith offices at the junction of High Street and Carrington Way, one of the prime units in the town centre.

The shop may look compact but Sara has created a permanent showcase for multiple local artists and craftspeople. To get the emporium up and running products from the following crafters will be on display.

  • Greetings cards and specialist Streptocarpus Plants (grown from cuttings) from Sara Cheesman.
  • Jewellery from Kathy Jolliff.
  • Hand sewn kids clothes and soft toys from Susan Maylor.
  • Cushions, table napkins, trinket boxes, scarves and boas provided by the Jennifer Scadding sewing group.
  • Gift boxes, and bags by Rosie Strawbridge.
  • Ceramics by accomplished ceramicist Lin Lupton.

Sara is happy to hear from any local art and craft business who would like the opportunity to have their products displayed in Craftique. The shop will open for business from 7th July, manned on a day-to-day basis by Sara.
