C.A.T.C.H. (Community Action to Transform Cale Habitat), are a local volunteer group who work to help clear and protect the habitat in and around the River Cale which runs through Wincanton.

The group will be holding a jumble sale at The Balsam Centre on Saturday 8th February 2014 from 12.00 noon until 2.00pm and are appealing for any jumble donations to include books, clothing, bric-a-brac, toys, pictures and smaller, non-electrical household items.

C.A.T.C.H. logoJanuary is always a great time of year to de-clutter and C.A.T.C.H. can use your unwanted items to convert into cash to provide vital equipment and materials to help look after such an important natural feature of the town.

If you would like to donate jumble then please contact Steve on 01963 34374 before 8.00pm and collection can be arranged.

The group would also like to take this opportunity to offer an open invitation, on 8th February to anyone who would like to know about the group's work or get more involved.

To be clear, the sale won't involve anything from any of those bags in the picture.
