A Big Thank You from Nick Colbert & Colin Winder

Following the 5th May 2011 District Council elections Colin Winder and I would like to say a big thank you to all those Wincanton people who voted for us, giving us a huge majority of 400.

Now we will be able to begin fighting for the things we promised before the election:

• To oppose any attempts to build on the land behind Dancing Lane.
• To encourage the creation of more employment in Wincanton.
• To fight to stop car parking charges being introduced in the towns car parks.

We will also be looking at ways to stop our monies being taken by SSDC and spent in Yeovil, a town some 25 minutes drive away. We shall also be looking at ways to stop the stupid spate of vandalism that seems to have afflicted Wincanton.

Finally a big thank you to all those who helped in our election, those who supported us and of course especially those who voted for us. Thank you.
